In Memory

Harry Greenwade
1929 - 2006

Harry Greenwade, aka "ole Uncle Harry" was part of the Country Junction Band during 2003 & 2004.  His stagename was "Harry Wade".  He always liked to cut-up on stage and get the people's attention.  Harry loved entertaining folks with his unique style of singing country & western songs.  Years ago he worked on the WWVA Radio Barn Dance in Wheeling, West Virginia.  It was there he met Patsy Cline, and later became her bass player.  He also spent some time working the road for the legendary George Jones.  Over the years Harry wrote and recorded many of his own songs, released several albums and even operated his own in home recording studio.
Uncle Harry passed away December 23, 2006 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville after suffering from complications with Bladder Cancer.  He'll be remembered for his fine talents, professionalism, and most of all his friendship.  The Country Junction Band appreciates the contributions he made and will always cherish the time he spent with us.  Our memories of Harry will continue to live on for our dear departed friend and former band member.
